The round table Gender Perspective in Museums was held with the aim of launching a discussion on the current state in education, politics, and museum practice, particularly regarding the specific measures museums should take in order to integrate a gender perspective into all segments of museum work, covering all processes from collecting and programming to mediation and communication.
Participants: Aleksandra Berberih Slana (director of the Zagreb City Museum), Rada Borić (president of the Gender Equality Committee of the City of Zagreb), Željka Jelavić (museum advisor at the Ethnographic Museum), Markita Franulić (director of the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla), Helena Stublić (associate professor, Museology and Heritage Management, Department of Information and Communication Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb) Leila Topić (member of the Centre for Women’s Studies and senior curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art).
